Pesadilla en Elm Street

The film that inspires the poster can be seen, in its original version subtitled in Spanish, as the first screening of this year’s PreFANT cycle, next Thursday the 15th, at 7:30 p.m., in Room 1 of the Golem-Alhóndiga Cinemas . Admission will be free, and must be picked up in advance at the box office on the same day from 4:30 p.m.

A Nightmare on Elm Street. Young people from the small fictional town of Springwood (Ohio) regularly have nightmares in which a man deformed by fire and wearing a glove ending in sharp blades chases and kills them. Some begin to be murdered in their sleep by this character who turns out to be Freddy Krueger, a man with an abominable past.

Vincent debe morir

The PreFANT cycle hosts the preview of the film “Vincent Must Die”, a work by Stéphan Castang, on March 7 at the Gólem – Alhóndiga cinemas. The screening will be at 7:30 p.m. and admission is free, and it must be picked up in advance (maximum 4 per person) at the box office, on the same day from 4:30 p.m.

“Vincent begins to be attacked by the people around him for no apparent reason. His drab existence is disrupted and, as his reality spirals out of control and the violence intensifies, he is forced to flee. But where?”

This film was presented in the Critics’ Week of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and was awarded the Best New Director and Best Actor awards for Karim Leklou, at the 2023 Sitges Festival.
