A former nazi child-killer is confined in an iron lung inside an old mansion after a suicide attempt. His wife hires him a full-time carer, a mysterious young man who is driven slowly mad by the old man’s disturbing past.
Mallorcan filmmaker born in 1953. He was a media teacher, artistic director, decorator, stylist and video maker before making his first short films. In 1987 he shoots his first feature film, In a Glass Cage, selected for the Berlin festival. He continued with Moon Child (1989), 99.9 (1997), The Sea (2000), In the Mind of a Killer (2002), the multi-award-winning Black Bread (2010), The King of Havana (2015) and The Belly of the Sea (2021). In 2011 he received the National Cinematography Award.
