Sinopsis

When a charming 12-year-old girl takes on the characteristics and voices of others, doctors say there is nothing they can do. As people begin to die, the girl’s mother realizes her daughter has been possessed by the devil–and that her daughter’s only possible hope lies with two priests and the ancient rite of demonic exorcism.

WILLIAM FRIEDKIN

American director and screenwriter born in Chicago in 1935. He began his career in 1962 working for television, in productions such as The Alfred Hitchcock Hour. In cinema, his first film was Good Times (1967). But his name would become known in 1971 by directing the masterful The French Connection. After that success, it would come the horror film masterpiece The Exorcist (1973). In his filmography we also find titles such as The Night They Raided Minsky’s (1968), The Boys in the Band (1970), Sorcerer (1977), Cruising (1980), To Live and Die in L.A. (1985), Jade (1995), Rules of Engagement (2000) and The Hunted (2003).
