Pianist and music teacher at only 17 years old, he recorded several albums as a singer-songwriter before studying Journalism and working for many years as a presenter on Radio Popular de Bilbao.

He has decades of theatre experience. Co-founder of the Akelarre theatre group, he is part of the cast of the mythical play El florido pensil, in which he gives more than 1,000 performances, including a tour in Latin America.

He has participated in series such as Estoy vivo or La caza. Monteperdido and numerous feature films, the most recent being All the Moons (2021), The Elderly (2022) and the project that has brought him international fame, the multi-award-winning film The Platform (2019)..
