Mari was the most powerful goddess in the Basque Country, with dominion over all natural elements and living beings. Sugaar was the Basque genius of destruction and creativity. They met one day and fell madly in love at first sight. Due to their status as gods, they had to keep their relationship a secret. So every Friday they would meet on Mount Anboto and make love until dawn. When they met, they caused a great storm, it was the power of their love.
