On the cusp of retirement, an eccentric mortician recounts several of the strangest stories he’s
encountered in his long career, but things take a turn for the phantasmagorical when he learns
that the final story… is his own.

Ryan Spindell was raised in a crumbling haunted mansion on the forgotten coast of Maine, so
as you can imagine, his social skills are top notch. Ryan’s natural inclination toward the arts,
and his obsession with The Twilight Zone led him down the dark and twisted path of creepy
storytelling, from which he would never recover. After graduating with his masters in writing
and directing, Ryan relocated to Los Angeles where he founded Trapdoor Pictures. Over the
next several years, Ryan and his team made over a dozen short films and documentaries. The
Mortuary Collection is his first feature film.
