Hunter, a newly pregnant housewife, finds herself increasingly compelled to consume dangerous objects. As her husband and his family tighten their control over her life, she must confront the dark secret behind her new obsession.

Born in New York City Carlo Mirabella-Davis became fascinated with storytelling and cinema in his childhood. Made as his MFA thesis project, Knife Point (2009) was premiered at Sundance Film Festival. He later codirected the documentary The Swell Season (2011).
