In a wealthy and isolated community, a sound expert is targeted as the prime suspect of a series of brutal murders of well-to-do housewives who were attacked and mutilated in their homes.

Donald Cammell

Born in 1934 in Edinburgh, Scotland. After beginning his artistic career as a painter during the fifties, he began writing scripts in the early sixties and debuted co-directing with Nicolas Roeg the film Performance (1968), starring a young Mick Jagger. Until his death in 1996 he only made three more feature films: Demon Seed (1977), White of the Eye (1987) and Wild Side (1995). He was also a regular video clip maker for the famous Irish band U2.
